In-building fibre · housing associations and property

Fair internet in every apartment building

Integrio takes the work off the hands of housing associations, property developers and owners' associations when the in-building fibre network is installed, so residents can get more affordable internet. Integrio keeps track of which apartment is connected to which provider.

Why it matters

Two reasons to get it right now

For some it is about the rules, for others about what residents pay. The good news: it is the same solution.

GIA

Build in line with the GIA, without the risk of objections

Since 12 February 2026, building permits for new build and major renovation of apartment buildings must comply with . If you have the in-building network installed properly now, you run no risk of objections to the permit on this point, and you build an open network as well.

Fair internet

Fair internet for your residents

When the fibre belongs to the building, a provider no longer pays per dwelling for the cable. That saves a household at least €300 a year. And residents choose for themselves: no monopoly per building, and no price that is fixed because only one party can get in.

How NOPA works

How it works

From one provider to a resident who chooses

Today the cable in the building belongs to one party, and only that party can deliver. Tomorrow the fibre belongs to the building, and residents choose for themselves.

In this example the cable belongs to KPN, so only KPN delivers.Tomorrow: the fibre belongs to the building, and switching is one patch.

GIA · Gigabit Infrastructure Act

Fibre in apartment buildings, without a mini-monopoly

The Gigabit Infrastructure Act and article 10, set out as a reference in seven chapters: from the history of the Dutch network to our view on how to carry it out. With an animation that shows step by step how it works.

Do you have a building where this will come up?

Call or email, even if you have not made up your mind. We are happy to explain what article 10 means for your portfolio, and what we can do for you in it.
